Product Description

NEOSUS^® suspension agent is a liquid rheology additive suitable for low polar systems like diesel, mineral oils or synthetic oils. The product creates a thixotropic flow behavior to achieve anti-settling and to avoid particle sedimentation without significantly influencing the overall viscosity by creating a yield point. NEOSUS^® is the best option when used in the pre-mixed mud in liquid mud plant or long-distance transportation between field and liquid mud plant.

Applications/Functions

• Improves anti-settling properties of oil-based slurries during storage and transportation
• Reduces the syneresis or separation of oil from fluids stored without agitation
• Designed to adjust low shear viscosity in oil-based systems

Advantages

• Gives stable anti-settling properties until at least 200°F in the application
• Easy to incorporate - no shear or temperature activation necessary
• Can be added into formulation at any stage - post add possible
• Additive is suitable for cold weather applications. It is liquid and pourable to below -27°C (-17°F)
• No formation damage to be expected - very low molecular weight polymer, no inorganic particles
