Product Description
PURELUBRI® X is an environmentally acceptable, top-level, extreme-pressure lubricant which will effectively reduce torque and drag in all water-based drilling fluids. It is one of the best performance products in SHARK's lubricants portfolio. PURELUBRI® X readily disperses in water-based muds and can be used up to saturation with either sodium or potassium chlorides-based fluids. PURELUBRI® X can reduce downtime associated with stuck pipe and excessive torque in horizontal wells. This ester-based lubricant will readily biodegradable and non-toxic which makes it ideal for offshore applications.
- Provides low load and extreme-pressure lubricating properties of drilling fluids
- Reduces wear of metal parts
- Reduces torque problems in high angle, long horizontal and complicated drilling operations
- Thermal stable up to 400°F
- Effective in small concentrations
- Does not cause foaming
- Hydrocarbon-free product thus ideal for offshore applications
- Appearance: Light yellow liquid
- Specific gravity: 0.9-1.0
- Flash point: >392°F
- Extreme pressure: >880 N
- A typical range is 0.5-2% v/v, but specific drilling conditions will dictate a suitable concentration
