AQUAVIS® HT viscosifier is synthetic macromolecular polymer developed for high temperature oilfield applications. It is designed to provide high thermal stability than other common polymers. AQUAVIS® HT can maintain long-term rheology, suspension and hole cleaning performance under extended HPHT conditions. AQUAVIS® HT is compatible with most brine-based drilling fluids.
- Viscosifier for HPHT water-based fluid system
- Suspend bridging agents and weighting materials in fresh water and brine systems
- Provides elevated low shear rate viscosity with minimal plastic viscosity
- Long term thermal stability above 350°F
- Excellent rheological profile with elevated low-end readings essential for hole cleaning
- compatible with most brine-based drilling fluids
- Appearance: White, free-flowing powder
- Specific gravity: 1.5
- A typical range is 4-12 ppb. Pilot test and proper design procedures should be used to determine the optimal formulation
