HYPERWET^® additive functions as the wetting agent and secondary emulsifier in HYPERDRIL^® extreme high temperature NAF system, when used in combination with the HYPERMUL^® one drum emulsifier. Additional benefits include improved thermal stability and HTHP filtration control. HYPERWET^® wetting agent is effective over a wide temperature range from 104°F to 500°F, in the presence of contaminants, and in reducing the adverse effects of water contamination.

Applications/Functions

• Wet barite or other weighting materials and drilled solids with a synthetic-based fluid coating
• Tightens the emulsion and increases the thermal stability
• Lowers fluid loss
