Product Description

Calcium Bromide forms a neutral salt solution in water. The product is a powdered inorganic salt composed of 95% CaBr₂. Calcium Bromide is used primarily to increase the density of Calcium Chloride/Calcium Bromide/Zinc Bromide blends. Calcium Bromide is especially effective for density control in the 14-15ppg (1.68-1.80SG) range when the use of zinc-based product is prohibited.

Applications/Functions

• Used primarily to increase the density of Calcium Chloride/Calcium Bromide/Zinc Bromide blends brine system
• Used to adjust and maintain or adjust brine density up to 15.1ppg (1.81SG) in Calcium Chloride/ Calcium Bromide systems and up to 19.2ppg (2.3SG) in Calcium Chloride/Calcium Bromide/Zinc Bromide fluid systems
