Product Description

OFREE®D is a dry powder oxygen scavenger used for corrosion control or thermal extension of water-based fluids. Applications include oxidative corrosion control in down-hole tubulars and reduction of the conditions that promote thermal degradation of organic materials. OFREE®D scavenger is suitable for use in fresh water and monovalent brines. Use in divalent brines is not recommended.

  • Remove soluble oxygen from water-based drilling fluids and monovalent brines
