KALVIS^® viscosifier is a heteroglycan cellulose derivative that is water soluble and effective for use in solids-free brines and packer fluids and supplement with filtration control. It works in both monovalent and divalent brines. The linear macromolecules composed of cyclic polyhydroxy molecular structural units make it delivers multi-functions as viscosifier, filtration control, inhibitor and lubricant in water-based drilling fluid and completion fluid. It performs well specially in saturated calcium-based brine with thermal stable up to 280°F.
