Product Description
AQUACIDE® HP is a triazine fungicide class product used to control bacteria in water-based drilling fluids, completion/workover, and packer fluids. It's a broad-spectrum, high efficiency, low toxicity antiseptic and antifungal fungicide. Suitable for neutral, weakly alkaline, alkaline working environment, no corrosion to equipment. This product has strong inhibitory power against all kinds of gram-positive or negative bacteria, molds and yeasts. AQUACIDE® HP is effective at low concentrations and compatible with all brine types.
- Used in water-based drilling fluids to control bacteria
- Suitable in completion/workover, and packer fluid
- High efficiency, broad spectrum, with antibacterial and bactericidal dual effects
- Wide range of pH values 2.0~12.0
- Disinfect effectual at low concentrations, rapid action
- Low toxicity, no adverse reactions to skin in the concentration range, environmentally friendly
- Appearance: Colorless or light-yellow transparent liquid
- pH(10% aqueous solution): 9.0-11.5
- Specific gravity@20ºC: 1.12-1.28
- The normal treatment range of AQUACIDE® HP is around 0.1%-0.25% by volume in most fluids
