Product Description

AQUATHIN® is a silicon-fluorine copolymer viscosity reducer designed for water-based drilling fluids in deep and ultra-deep wells. It is effective thinner/deflocculant with exceptional tolerance to high temperature, divalent cautions. AQUATHIN® is used to maintain rheological stability in the presence of electrolyte contamination from salt, gypsum and cement. It will also aid in the prevention of high-temperature mud gelation. Under the complex drilling conditions such as ultra-high temperature and high mud weight, AQUATHIN® can effectively inhibit shale hydration, improve quality of filter cake, and maintain long-term stability of drilling fluid performance, so as to achieve the purpose of safe and fast drilling.
