EZCOL^® DP shale inhibitor is a non-ionic surfactant polymer made from polyethylene glycol and polypropylene glycol used in water-based drilling fluids. It can provide improved wellbore stability, lubricity, high temperature filtration control and reduced bit balling. EZCOL^® DP can be absorbed on the surface of drilling tools by metal-oxygen, delivering extreme-pressure lubricating film on the surface to reduce toque and drag.  EZCOL^® DP acts to reduce swelling of reactive clays by chemical interaction at the clay surface. EZCOL^® DP is an effective drilling fluid additive with multi-functions and wide applications.
