AQUATROL® polymer is white synthetic polymer designed for extreme temperature drilling environments. The structure of AQUATROL® features strongly bonded chemical linkages and cross-linked chains which deliver exceptional high temperature stability. This key product serves as primary filtration control agent for AQUADRIL® HTHP high-performance WBM. It performs well in freshwater, seawater, monovalent and divalent muds with thermal stable above 450°F. To achieve a perfect balance between fluid loss control and rheology, the formulation needs to be tailored based on density and temperature conditions by combining core products including AQUATEMP®, AQUAVIS® L and AQUATHIN®.
